Kate Farrell, Ph.D. Founder and CEO

Dr Farrell is a 22 year  biopharma veteran. She started her industry career as a research scientist at Amgen working on discovery and product teams across a variety of therapeutic areas, then became a team leader for a pipeline product during its Phase 2-3 transition. Her other experience there includes work in Medical Affairs on an oncology product launch, oncology product portfolio management in Global Operations, and running the Global Clinical Supply Chain organizationn.  Kate has also worked as a consultant doing preclinical product development for a UK-based biotechnology company focused on epithelial stem cell biology, as well as other short term consulting projects.  She has a Ph.D. in Biophysics from the University of Western Ontario, and was a MRC post doc initially at UCLA, and then at the Max Plank Institute in Munich, Germany.
